The Slotsholmen cushion is made from the historic "horse rug" (hestedækken) cloth, first woven at the Royal Military Clothing Factory for the Danish Army, Navy and Guard Hussars. Adapted as a furniture textile in the 1970s, it became an export success on many Danish design classics, and Danish Art Weaving has produced it since 1995. Shown here in blue wool.
