Børge Mogensen designed the J27 in 1949 while heading FDB Møbler's design studio. It is a restrained, simple stool that serves as practical everyday furniture, and the counter (C) and bar (B) versions raise the same design to kitchen-counter and bar heights. The solid wood develops a natural patina over time. Shown here in Emerald Green painted beech.
