Jørgen Bækmark, FDB Møbler's design director from 1958, created this paper-cord series with a quiet design language and careful detailing, and it remains one of the best-known ranges from FDB's golden age. The J83 stool was designed as a companion to the J80 and J81 chairs and the J82 lounge chair, and it has stayed popular for generations. Shown here in smoked oiled oak.
