Erik Ole Jørgensen, trained as an upholsterer before becoming a furniture architect, designed this 1978 series so that the loose cushions and oak frame work closely together. The J147 is the more compact, simpler sibling of the J146, with plain armrests without spokes. Shown here in natural lacquered oak with dark blue upholstery.
