Poul M. Volther designed the J166 Jørna armchair in 1952 with his wife Jørna in mind, leaving room beside her for everyday things like knitting or a tablet. It reflects his functionalist view that comfort comes before appearance, backed by solid craftsmanship. Shown here in smoked oiled oak with green wool-flax fabric upholstery.
