Børge Mogensen designed the J52 family in 1952 as his lighter take on the English Windsor chair, replacing the bulk of the original with a row of simple staves under a curved top rail. The J52D stretches the chair into a comfortable two-seater bench, keeping the light, airy look and the curved backrest line, for use at the dining table or on its own. Shown here in Jet Black painted beech.
