Studio Ēeme is a ceramics practice founded in Lisbon by Marie-Laure Davy, trained at Ar.Co and formerly fifteen years in New York advertising.

Every piece is hand-built in stoneware, its color drawn from the clay itself rather than glaze or paint — made to order, one at a time.

The foundational expression of the studio's language. Abundance is the work through which Studio Ēeme's visual identity first came fully into focus. It remains one of the clearest expressions of the studio's approach to form, energy, and emotional presence. The dialogue between ceramic and wood is essential to the piece. The movement of the form is held by its base, grounding its expressive energy and giving it permanence. Whether presented symmetrically or asymmetrically, Abundance carries a commanding presence and remains central to the studio's world.

Process insight: Its sculptural language emerges not from external reference, but from an internal one: movement, meditation, and the body translated into volume through the hand. Feminine in origin yet architectural in impact, Abundance explores themes of fertility, strength, light, and shadow through a bold, undulating outline.
